After two great weeks I got my first 2 injuries. Disheartening but I knew from the start that it will be a long journey and anticipated some injuries but not this soon. At this stage my joints are more vulnerable as the muscles around it are not strong enough yet. I was very careful not to overdo it and pace myself through my swimming and bootcamp.
I decided to go for a mini hike with a friend of mine. It was so beautiful in the woods with the red and yellow autumn leaves everywhere. Halfway through our hike I noticed that my knee is seizing up. It wasn't painful till later that evening when I couldn't bend it. My shins started burning like crazy in the evening too. I saw my GP the next morning so that we can sort my knee asap as he is fully aware of my target and goal I'm working towards in October 2019. It may take a bit longer, but I have time. Patience has never been my strong point, so I've been resting my legs since Thursday.
